David Bolinger, aka D-Bo, began working in television production part-time at his church 2000, where he learned to run a camera, work a switcher and edit productions. In 2003, he began working freelance for RIVR Media Studios part-time, and in January 2004, he became Equipment Manager, maintaining and repairing all the production gear. Since 2004, David has worked on more than 100 different episodes, as an Audio Engineer, Camera Operator, Grip and Utility. He worked on "Whale Wars" for Animal Planet produced by RIVR Media. He was part of the camera team that received a Primetime Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Cinematography for Non-Fiction Programming" in 2008 and an Academy Award for “Television with a Conscience." Currently, in addition to traveling frequently to work as an Audio Operator on field shoots, David handles all RIVR's production equipment, tech support, and so much more. David and his wife, Kim, have two children: Luke (11) and Avery (7). David stays very busy between RIVR, his family, and his frisbee golf habit.
